2008 Toronto Motorcycle Show
It was just as much fun for kids as it was for adults, if not more!
Below we have some photos of the various bikes that were on display.
The famous Ives family was on hand to do their stunts in the infamous
GLOBE OF DEATH with dad as MC, mom doing safety checks and brothers
Cody and Kyle, aged 16 and 14 respectively, riding their motorcycles in
the very tight 12 foot (3.65m) steel ball.
The Yamaha booth also provided kids 6 years of age and over an opportunity
to suit up like a pro and take some of their mini 50 cc bikes for a spin
around a track that they put together in the loading area of the venue
As a parent of a child who has never riden a motorcycle before it was a
little unnerving especially when they hand you a waiver to sign but the
Yamaha staff asured me that the bikes were governed down to a safe
speed.
